Our R&D project for an advanced MODcol Multipacker Instrument has been recognized by the German Research Allowance Certification Office (BSFZ).


Dr. Maisch is developing an innovative, new MODcol Multipacker Instrument for packing HPLC columns with large Inner Diameters (ID) of 150-300 mm.


Key Innovations:

• A new packing technology capable of applying up to 60 tons of force—equivalent to 110 bar of pressure—for optimal packing density.
• Free pressure profiles to enhance packing uniformity.
• A compact footprint, even for large-scale HPLC columns.

This development introduces a groundbreaking approach to large-scale preparative HPLC columns by enhancing column efficiency, stability, and longevity.
