This enhanced surface deactivation minimizes residual silanol activity, resulting in excellent peak symmetry, especially for basic and polar analytes. With its moderate hydrophobic retention, Equisil MOS-2 is ideal for analytes that elute too strongly on C18 columns or where shorter analysis times are needed — making it a robust and flexible tool for method development, pharmaceutical QC, and routine reversed-phase HPLC.
