Adsorbosphere OPA is a reversed-phase HPLC column, based on a C8-bonded stationary phase with double endcapping. This bonding chemistry provides moderate hydrophobic retention, improved resistance to silanol interactions, and excellent peak symmetry, especially for basic and ionizable compounds.
The double endcapping process significantly reduces secondary interactions, resulting in robust and reproducible separations under both isocratic and gradient conditions. Adsorbosphere OPA is ideal for routine reversed-phase applications where a shorter alkyl chain length and clean peak shape are required.
Adsorbosphere OPA offers reliable and reproducible reversed-phase performance – a practical C8 column for daily analytical HPLC workflows.
