Exsil Pure 120 ALKAM is an alkaline-modified silica-based HPLC stationary phase built on ultra-high purity Exsil Pure 120 silica with a nominal pore size of 120 Å. The ALKAM surface modification is specifically designed to improve chemical stability and chromatographic robustness under neutral to moderately alkaline mobile phase conditions.

The modified silica surface reduces silica dissolution and minimizes undesired secondary interactions, resulting in improved peak shape and more stable retention behavior, particularly for basic and ionizable analytes. Exsil Pure 120 ALKAM is well suited for reversed-phase HPLC methods where conventional silica phases show limited lifetime or insufficient robustness at elevated pH.

Controlled silica synthesis, very low metal content, and stable surface modification ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility and reliable long-term performance in routine analysis and method development.
