Spherigrom

Reliable Alternatives to Spherisorb

Spherigrom HPLC columns from Dr. Maisch are high-performance, spherical silica-based stationary phases developed as good, method-compatible alternatives to Spherisorb (Waters™). They provide reproducible retention, consistent selectivity, and robust performance in routine reversed-phase HPLC applications.

The Spherigrom product family is available in ODS-1, ODS-2, and CN phases, covering a broad range of chromatographic selectivities. While Spherigrom ODS-1 offers balanced hydrophobic retention for classical reversed-phase separations, Spherigrom ODS-2 delivers enhanced hydrophobicity for strongly retained, non-polar analytes. The Spherigrom CN phase adds complementary selectivity for polar and aromatic compounds and supports both reversed-phase and mixed-mode separations. This versatile phase portfolio enables seamless method transfer from legacy Spherisorb columns without re-optimization.

With high-quality spherical silica particles and well-defined surface chemistry, Spherigrom columns ensure reliable performance and excellent reproducibility in daily laboratory work. Particle sizes of 3 µm and 5 µm (phase-dependent) support a wide range of analytical HPLC methods.
