GromSil 60 is a group of HPLC columns from Dr. Maisch HPLC GmbH, based on fully porous, high-purity silica with a 60 Å pore size and high specific surface area. This platform is particularly suitable for classical normal-phase applications, adsorption chromatography, and separations of small, polar analytes. The high surface activity and well-controlled silanol chemistry offer strong polar retention and excellent resolution of compounds with functional groups such as alcohols, amines, and acids.
