Exsil Pure 120 Diphenyl is a diphenyl-modified silica-based HPLC stationary phase based on ultra-high purity Exsil Pure 120 silica with a nominal pore size of 120 Å. The diphenyl ligand provides an extended aromatic surface, enabling strong π–π interactions in addition to hydrophobic retention.

Compared to conventional C18 and phenyl phases, Exsil Pure 120 Diphenyl offers enhanced selectivity for aromatic, polyaromatic, and structurally rigid compounds. The 120 Å pore structure improves mass transfer and robustness, resulting in stable retention behavior, excellent peak shape, and reliable performance in demanding analytical workflows.

Controlled silica synthesis, very low metal content, and stable diphenyl bonding ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility and consistent chromatographic performance in routine analysis and method development.
