Exsil Pure 120 Fluoro

Fluorinated Reversed-Phase Silica for Enhanced Selectivity of Polar and Halogenated Compounds

Exsil Pure 120 Fluoro is a fluorinated silica-based HPLC stationary phase based on ultra-high purity Exsil Pure 120 silica with a nominal pore size of 120 Å. The fluorinated bonded ligand introduces distinct electronic and steric properties, providing alternative selectivity compared to conventional alkyl reversed-phase materials.

The fluoro-modified surface enables a combination of hydrophobic, dipole–dipole, and π–π interactions, resulting in enhanced selectivity for polar, halogenated, and aromatic compounds. The 120 Å pore structure improves mass transfer and robustness, delivering stable retention behavior and excellent peak shape across a wide range of mobile phase compositions.

Controlled silica synthesis, very low metal content, and stable fluoro bonding ensure reproducible retention, consistent selectivity, and reliable long-term performance in routine analysis and method development, including LC–MS-compatible workflows.

Exsil Pure 120 Fluoro provides distinctive electronic-driven selectivity combined with high-purity silica and robust performance, making it a valuable reversed-phase option for small-molecule HPLC separations requiring alternative selectivity.
