Exsil Pure 120 Phenyl-Amino is a mixed-mode silica-based HPLC stationary phase combining phenyl and amino functionalities on ultra-high purity Exsil Pure 120 silica with a nominal pore size of 120 Å. This dual-ligand surface design provides both aromatic π–π interactions and polar as well as weak anion-exchange retention mechanisms, enabling highly versatile selectivity.
The phenyl functionality enhances retention and selectivity for aromatic and conjugated compounds, while the amino groups introduce additional polar and ionic interaction sites. This combination allows improved separation of structurally complex, polar-aromatic, and ionizable analytes that are difficult to resolve using single-mode reversed-phase or normal-phase materials.
The 120 Å pore structure improves mass transfer and robustness, delivering stable retention behavior, excellent peak shape, and reproducible chromatographic performance in demanding analytical workflows.
Controlled silica synthesis, very low metal content, and stable dual bonding ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility and reliable long-term performance in routine analysis and method development, including LC–MS-compatible applications.
Exsil Pure 120 Phenyl-Amino combines aromatic and polar selectivity on a high-purity silica platform, making it a powerful mixed-mode solution for challenging small-molecule HPLC separations requiring differentiated interaction mechanisms.
