Exsil Pure 120 SAX is a strong anion-exchange (SAX) silica-based HPLC stationary phase based on ultra-high purity Exsil Pure 120 silica with a nominal pore size of 120 Å. The permanently charged quaternary ammonium functionality provides strong and stable electrostatic interactions, enabling efficient retention and separation of negatively charged analytes.

The 120 Å pore structure improves mass transfer and robustness compared to smaller-pore materials, resulting in reproducible retention behavior and stable selectivity over a wide range of mobile phase conditions. Exsil Pure 120 SAX is designed for demanding ion-exchange applications in routine analysis as well as method development, including workflows requiring high reproducibility and robustness.
