Grom Resin Na++, IEX is a cation exchange HPLC column based on a robust, cross-linked polymer matrix functionalized with sulfonic acid groups in the sodium form (Na⁺). It is specially designed for the ligand-exchange and ion-exclusion separation of mono- and disaccharides, oligosaccharides, and sugar alcohols under isocratic aqueous conditions. The column operates silanol-free, offering excellent chemical stability, low bleed, and long lifetime, even at elevated temperatures.
Packed by Dr. Maisch HPLC GmbH, Grom Resin Na++, IEX is widely used in food chemistry, fermentation monitoring, and bioanalytical carbohydrate profiling.
Grom Resin Na++, IEX provides robust and precise carbohydrate analysis – ideal for HPLC laboratories working with sugars, polyols, and organic acids in food, bioprocessing, and environmental testing.
Sodium-form strong cation exchanger for sugar analysis
Silanol-free, polymeric stationary phase with high pH tolerance
Supports isocratic separations in water or dilute eluents
Excellent reproducibility and minimal sample interaction
Compatible with RI and UV detection; suitable for high-temperature runs
Separation of glucose, fructose, sucrose, lactose, and sugar alcohols
Carbohydrate profiling in food and beverage analysis
