GromSil 120 Diol is a polar HPLC column from Dr. Maisch HPLC GmbH, based on high-purity, fully porous silica with a 120 Å pore size and bonded with diol (–CH₂OH–CH₂OH) functional groups. This stationary phase enables hydrogen bonding and dipole-dipole interactions, making it ideal for normal-phase chromatography as well as HILIC-like separations of polar and hydrophilic analytes.

Its deactivated surface provides improved peak shapes and reduced tailing for hydroxyl-rich and polar compounds such as sugars, amino alcohols, and polar drug substances.
