GromSil 80 Phenyl-3 PE is a reversed-phase HPLC column from Dr. Maisch HPLC GmbH, based on fully porous, high-purity silica with an 80 Å pore size and bonded with phenyl ligands. The partially endcapped (PE) surface allows for a controlled degree of silanol interaction, enhancing selectivity for polar and ionizable analytes while maintaining strong π–π interaction with aromatic compounds.

This phase provides orthogonal selectivity to C18 and C8 materials and is especially useful in method development for structurally similar or aromatic compounds.
