Adsorbosil CN is a cyanopropyl-modified silica phase offering unique versatility: it can be used in both normal-phase and reversed-phase HPLC applications. The polar cyano functional group provides moderate hydrophobicity and strong dipole interactions, enabling selective retention of polar and aromatic compounds.

Compared to traditional C18 or C8 phases, Adsorbosil CN delivers faster elution for non-polar compounds while enhancing resolution for analytes with polar functional groups. It is also suitable for normal-phase separations using non-polar mobile phases like hexane or heptane.
