Adsorbosil Si is a pure, unmodified silica phase optimized for traditional normal-phase HPLC applications. Its high surface area and controlled pore structure provide excellent retention of polar analytes when using non-polar mobile phases such as hexane, heptane, or iso-octane in combination with polar modifiers (e.g. ethyl acetate, isopropanol).
Thanks to its polar silanol groups, Adsorbosil Si offers strong hydrogen bonding and dipole-dipole interactions, making it particularly well-suited for the separation of positional isomers, stereoisomers, and other structurally similar compounds.
Adsorbosil Si is a dependable column for classical normal-phase separations where unmodified silica interaction is essential for selectivity and resolution.
Adsorbosil Si is a good alternative to Polygosil® Si.
