Exsil 100 Diol is a diol-modified silica-based HPLC stationary phase based on high-purity Exsil 100 silica with a nominal pore size of 100 Å. The bonded diol functionality provides a moderately polar surface with reduced silanol activity, enabling controlled retention and improved peak symmetry compared to bare silica or strongly polar phases.

The balanced polarity of the diol ligand allows Exsil 100 Diol to be operated primarily in normal-phase HPLC and HILIC-type separations.
