Gold-Turbo ESM C18 is a reversed-phase HPLC column based on fully porous, high-purity silica, bonded with C18 chains containing embedded polar groups (ESM: Embedded Selectivity Modifier). This design enables hydrophobic retention typical of C18 phases, while the embedded polar functionality improves peak shape for basic compounds, enhances selectivity for polar analytes, and allows for operation under highly aqueous conditions without phase collapse.

Gold-Turbo ESM C18 is particularly suitable for challenging analytes and method development where standard C18 columns offer insufficient retention or poor symmetry.
