Macrosphere 800 SEC is a silica-based stationary phase designed for aqueous size exclusion chromatography (SEC) in the molecular weight range of 150,000 to 1,250,000 Daltons. The material is based on high-purity spherical silica with an 800 Å pore size and features a hydrophilic diol surface modification, providing true size-exclusion behavior for very large biomolecules and aggregates.
