This phase combines strong hydrophobic retention from the hexyl chain with π–π interaction selectivity from the phenyl group, providing superior separation of aromatic and structurally related compounds. The endcapping ensures excellent peak symmetry, especially for basic and polar analytes, while maintaining robust retention and reproducibility for a wide variety of compounds.
