Ultrasep ES 100 RP6 is a silica-based HPLC column with a 100 Å pore size and a C6 (hexyl) bonded phase. The medium-length alkyl chain provides balanced hydrophobic retention, offering an intermediate selectivity between C4 and C8 phases. This makes it particularly valuable for compounds that elute too strongly on C8 or C18, but require more retention than shorter-chain phases can provide.
