Exsil 100 Nitrile HL

High-Load Cyanopropyl Silica for Enhanced Capacity and Selectivity in HPLC

Exsil 100 Nitrile HL is a high-load cyanopropyl-modified silica-based HPLC stationary phase based on high-purity Exsil 100 silica with a nominal pore size of 100 Å. The “HL” (High Load) surface design features an increased ligand density compared to standard nitrile phases, resulting in enhanced retention strength and higher sample loading capacity.

The moderately polar nitrile (CN) functionality provides dual-mode chromatographic behavior, enabling operation in both reversed-phase and normal-phase HPLC. Compared to conventional CN phases, Exsil 100 Nitrile HL offers stronger and more stable retention, improved robustness, and enhanced selectivity for demanding separations involving higher analyte loads.

Controlled silica synthesis and optimized surface bonding ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility, consistent selectivity, and reliable chromatographic performance in routine analysis as well as method development.

Exsil 100 Nitrile HL combines enhanced loadability with versatile dual-mode selectivity, making it an excellent choice for demanding small-molecule HPLC separations requiring higher capacity and robust performance.
