Exsil 100 ODS-AB

C18-Modified Silica with Embedded Amide for Improved Peak Shape and Selectivity

Exsil 100 ODS-AB is an octadecyl-modified (C18) silica-based HPLC stationary phase with an embedded amide functionality, based on high-purity Exsil 100 silica with a nominal pore size of 100 Å. The combination of strong hydrophobic C18 retention and a polar embedded amide group provides a balanced surface chemistry with enhanced interaction control.

The embedded amide functionality effectively reduces undesired silanol interactions, leading to improved peak symmetry and more stable retention, particularly for polar and basic analytes. Compared to conventional ODS phases, Exsil 100 ODS-AB offers enhanced selectivity, improved robustness, and greater method reliability across a wide range of mobile phase conditions.

Controlled silica synthesis and stable surface modification ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility, consistent selectivity, and reliable chromatographic performance in routine analysis and method development.

Exsil 100 ODS-AB combines strong C18 retention with enhanced surface deactivation, making it a robust reversed-phase solution for small-molecule HPLC separations requiring improved peak shape and reliable selectivity.
