Endcapped C18 Silica for Robust Reversed-Phase HPLC

Exsil 100 ODS-B is an endcapped octadecyl-modified (C18) silica-based HPLC stationary phase based on high-purity Exsil 100 silica with a nominal pore size of 100 Å. The additional endcapping step effectively deactivates residual silanol groups, resulting in reduced secondary interactions and improved chromatographic robustness.

Compared to non-endcapped ODS phases, Exsil 100 ODS-B provides improved peak symmetry, enhanced retention stability, and greater method reliability, particularly for basic and polar analytes. The phase combines strong reversed-phase retention with controlled surface activity, making it suitable for a wide range of routine analytical and QC applications.

Controlled silica synthesis and stable surface modification ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility and consistent chromatographic performance in both routine analysis and method development.
