High-Load Phenyl-Modified Silica for Enhanced Aromatic Selectivity in Reversed-Phase HPLC

Exsil 100 Phenyl-HL is a phenyl-modified silica-based HPLC stationary phase with high ligand loading, based on high-purity Exsil 100 silica with a nominal pore size of 100 Å. The phenyl bonded phase enables π–π interactions in addition to hydrophobic retention, while the high-load (HL) surface design provides increased retention strength and higher sample loading capacity.

Compared to standard phenyl phases, Exsil 100 Phenyl-HL offers enhanced selectivity and improved retention for aromatic and conjugated compounds. The increased ligand density results in more robust retention behavior, making the phase particularly suitable for demanding separations requiring higher loadability and stable selectivity.

Controlled silica synthesis and optimized surface modification ensure excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility, consistent chromatographic performance, and reliable behavior in both routine analysis and method development.
