ReproSil Chiral-BM is a silica-based HPLC stationary phase coated with tris-benzoate cellulose, specifically developed for enantioselective separations under normal-phase conditions. The cellulose tris-benzoate chiral selector enables multiple molecular interaction mechanisms – including hydrogen bonding, dipole–dipole, and π–π interactions – providing high chiral recognition and excellent resolution for a broad variety of racemic compounds.
The high-purity, mechanically stable spherical silica ensures robust performance, high reproducibility, and long column lifetime. The benzoate-substituted cellulose derivative offers a unique selectivity profile that complements other chiral stationary phases, making ReproSil Chiral-BM particularly valuable in method development for pharmaceutical and chemical enantioseparations.
Designed for both analytical and preparative use, this phase provides reliable performance in the separation of chiral pharmaceuticals, intermediates, and fine chemicals under standard normal-phase mobile phase conditions (e.g., n-hexane/alcohol mixtures).
ReproSil Chiral-BM combines the proven chiral selectivity of cellulose tris-benzoate with the robustness of high-purity silica – the dependable choice for precise and reproducible enantioselective separations in normal-phase chromatography.
Attractive Alternative to CHIRALCEL® OB-H (Daicel®).
