ReproSil Chiral-JM-R is a silica-based HPLC stationary phase coated with tris-(4-methylbenzoyl)carbamate cellulose, specifically developed for enantioselective separations under reversed-phase conditions. The cellulose derivative substituted with 4-methylbenzoyl carbamate groups provides strong chiral recognition through multiple molecular interactions, including hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking, and dipole–dipole interactions.
Unlike its normal-phase counterpart, ReproSil Chiral-JM-R is optimized for aqueous and polar mobile phases, enabling robust and reproducible separations in reversed-phase and polar-organic chromatography modes. The high-purity spherical silica support ensures mechanical stability and long column lifetime, while the optimized coating process guarantees consistent enantioselectivity and peak symmetry even under gradient or highly aqueous conditions. This phase is ideally suited for the enantioselective analysis of polar compounds, pharmaceuticals, and biomolecules, as well as for method development in chiral HPLC where reversed-phase compatibility is required.
ReproSil Chiral-JM-R combines cellulose-based chiral recognition with reversed-phase versatility – the reliable choice for accurate and reproducible enantioselective separations of polar and hydrophilic compounds in aqueous chromatographic systems.
Attractive alternative to CHIRALCEL® OJ-RH (Daicel®) and Lux Cellulose-3 (Phenomenex™).
