ReproSil Chiral-NR-R is an immobilized brush-type chiral stationary phase featuring π–electron acceptor and donor functional groups, specifically developed for enantioselective separations with an inverse elution order compared to ReproSil Chiral-NR. This unique design enables complementary selectivity, providing alternative resolution behavior for compounds that exhibit opposite retention characteristics on the original NR phase.

The chiral selector combines aromatic donor–acceptor sites and stereochemically defined recognition centers, allowing chiral discrimination through π–π interactions, hydrogen bonding, dipole–dipole forces, and steric complementarity.
