ReproSil Chiral-OM-R

Cellulose-Based Chiral Phase with Tris-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)carbamate Coating for Enantioselective Reversed-Phase Chromatography

ReproSil Chiral-OM-R is a silica-based HPLC stationary phase coated with tris-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)carbamate cellulose, specifically developed for enantioselective separations under reversed-phase conditions. The cellulose derivative with 3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate substituents provides a robust and highly versatile chiral recognition system capable of resolving a wide variety of racemic compounds through hydrogen bonding, π–π interactions, dipole–dipole forces, and steric complementarity.

Unlike its normal-phase counterpart, ReproSil Chiral-OM-R is optimized for aqueous and polar mobile phases, offering high stability, reproducibility, and strong enantioselectivity in reversed-phase and polar-organic chromatographic modes. The high-purity spherical silica ensures excellent mechanical stability, consistent retention behavior, and long column lifetime even under gradient conditions and extended use. This phase is particularly well suited for the enantioselective analysis of polar and water-soluble chiral compounds, including pharmaceuticals, metabolites, and biochemical intermediates. Its balanced hydrophobic and polar interactions make it a powerful tool for method development in biopharmaceutical and chemical laboratories.

ReproSil Chiral-OM-R combines the robust chiral recognition of tris-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)carbamate cellulose with reversed-phase compatibility – the reliable choice for accurate and reproducible enantioselective separations in aqueous and polar chromatographic systems.

Attractive alternative to CHIRALCEL® OD-RH (Daicel®).
