ReproSil Chiral-ZA-R is a silica-based HPLC stationary phase coated with tris-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)carbamate amylose, developed for enantioselective separations under reversed-phase conditions. The amylose derivative with 3-chloro-4-methylphenyl carbamate substituents provides highly efficient chiral recognition through a combination of hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking, dipole–dipole interactions, and steric complementarity.
The phase is optimized for aqueous and polar mobile phases, ensuring excellent stability and reproducibility under isocratic and gradient conditions. The presence of chloro and methyl substituents on the aromatic rings fine-tunes the polarity and interaction profile of the chiral selector, allowing reliable resolution of a wide variety of racemic compounds. Built on high-purity spherical silica, ReproSil Chiral-ZA-R offers outstanding mechanical stability, long column lifetime, and consistent retention behavior. Its robust and hydrophilic surface design ensures precise, reproducible separations of polar and hydrophobic analytes alike, making it a dependable choice for routine and advanced chiral analyses in aqueous environments.
ReproSil Chiral-ZA-R combines the robust chiral recognition of amylose tris-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)carbamate with reversed-phase compatibility – the reliable choice for accurate, stable, and reproducible enantioselective separations in aqueous and polar chromatographic systems.
Attractive alternative to CHIRALPAK® AZ-RH (Daicel®).
