ReproSil-Pur Basic-C8 is a silica-based HPLC column with octyl bonded chemistry on high-purity silica. Offering medium hydrophobic retention, it provides shorter analysis times than C18 phases while maintaining excellent resolution and peak symmetry.

As part of the ReproSil-Pur Basic series, the surface is specially optimized for basic and polar compounds. Reduced silanol activity minimizes peak tailing of amines, alkaloids, and other challenging analytes, ensuring reproducible and robust performance in routine and advanced separations.
