Reprospher 100 Diol-DE is a polar HPLC column from Dr. Maisch HPLC GmbH, based on fully porous, high-purity silica with a 100 Å pore size and functionalized with diol groups. The additional endcapping surface modification minimizes residual silanol activity, resulting in better peak shape, improved reproducibility, and reduced tailing — especially for polar and ionizable compounds.

This neutral, hydrophilic phase supports both normal-phase and HILIC retention mechanisms, making it particularly suitable for the analysis of carbohydrates, polyols, and polar drugs in aqueous or organic-rich mobile phases.
